Private Parent Facebook Group

This private group is for parents and guardians of cadets who belong to the 2021-22 MMA Corps of Cadets. Through this group, you can connect with other parents, ask questions, share tips and insight on how to best support your cadet at MMA, receive reminders about upcoming events and more. This page is managed by both the Academy and the MMA Parents Committee. Every parent with a young man in the MMA Corps of Cadets is a member of the Parents Committee.

Membership instructions are as follows:

Click here to find the group and request membership. There are three questions that must be answered when you request membership:

  1. Do you have a cadet in the 2021-22 Missouri Military Academy Corps?
  2. What is his name?
  3. What is your relationship to your cadet? (mother, father, etc.)

Once answered, MMA will review the request and manually approve your membership.

Please note: To maintain privacy for families, only parents or guardians who are authorized emergency contacts for your cadet will be approved for group membership. Please encourage other family members to follow our main Facebook page.

  4. LinkedIn

We also regularly post photo albums on our Flickr page, where parents can search for and download high-resolution photos for free.

Communications Email Archive

MMA will communicate with you directly via email regarding campus news, announcements and more. To help avoid having our emails sent to your spam folder, make sure to mark our communications as "safe," or add MMA to your email address book.

If you ever miss a communication or would like to refer back to past communications, you can always check the MMA Parents Communications Archive online. It is updated weekly, and includes links to view all previous communications sent to parents.

Grades Online

You can track your cadet's academic progress by accessing our Grades Online tool. Parents will receive a separate email from MMA's Department of Technology with your login information, specific to your cadet.

You can find the Grades Online tool on the main Parents page, or by clicking here. After you click the Grades Online link, you'll be prompted to enter your user ID and password (sent to you via a separate email).

Once in your account, you will be able to view the grades your cadet receives for work and exams in each course he is taking. Each course is graded progressively, and grades will be updated as cadets complete each section/unit.

If you require a “User ID” and “Password” or are having technical issues please contact the Department of Technology.

Our school policy requires that we disable grades online access until all bills have been paid. If you believe your account is not accessible due to this, please contact Julia Welch at 573-581-1776 Ext 229 or you may send her an email at

Naviance is a website that connects MMA, you and your cadet on a single platform, so we can all work together to support your cadet’s success. It allows us to share information; make plans about his future college and career choices; and even provides him educational exercises, such as curriculum lessons, career exploration, resume building, scholarship searches and more. Learn more about Naviance here.

Your cadet’s instructors use Naviance to identify his individual strengths, interests and post-secondary goals so they can better reinforce the connection between what he is learning with what his ultimate goals are in life. His college and career guidance counselor uses it to provide the best and most relevant advice, resources and care when he begins applying to colleges. As his guardian, Naviance will help you keep up with his development and future ambitions so you can monitor, encourage, contribute to his future plans. It will allow you to follow along each week and see the assignments he is completing; share information about his upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, resources for college and career information and more.

Frequently, MMA will call you directly regarding information or questions about your cadet. Please ensure that your voicemail is active and there is room in your voice-mailbox so that we may leave messages for you, if necessary.
