A welcome table will be set up in Barnard Hall atrium, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Please check in here to pick up your conference schedule and your cadet’s current grade report.

Parents may attend class with their cadets. Teachers will have a copy of their lesson plan for visitors.
If your cadet has a class at Hart Career Center (905 N Wade St, Mexico, MO 65265) or Presser Performing Arts Center (900 S Jefferson St, Mexico, MO 65265), you are invited to visit that class with your cadet and then return to MMA afterwards.
Please note that, after morning classes, cadets will have lunch with the corps and then commandant time. Parents will have lunch off-campus, on their own. Check the MightyMexMO app for dining options. Cadets will not attend parent conferences with teachers or CLAs.

MMA admissions representatives will hold an open house on Saturday morning to provide an opportunity for prospective cadets and their families to tour campus and learn how MMA’s 360° Education helps boys and young men reach their full potential.
Current families who refer a new cadet could earn up to a $2,000 discount on their own cadet’s tuition. You do not need to attend the open house with them to receive this discount. The referred cadet must be a new inquiry, enroll at MMA, and complete at least one full year for the discount to apply. Please contact Admissions for more information.

10:30 a.m. Cadet Formation and Inspection, Front Campus
Cadets (minus those participating in athletic competitions) will assemble in formation in front of Stribling Hall for inspection by the CLAs. Families may stand in front of Barnard Hall to observe.
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Room Inspection, Barracks
Families are invited to visit the barracks and conduct a room inspection for their cadet(s). Following inspection, cadets may check out with their families. Please note that all cadets and their families are encouraged to return to attend the Valentine Ball on Saturday night. See cadet check-out information below.*

5:00 p.m. Cadet check in for those attending Valentine Ball, Company Offices
6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Valentine Ball (RSVP only), Centennial Gymtorium
- $25/person, regardless of age. All cadets, their dates and their families are welcome to attend. Families and cadets may register here. Employees — Please register via this employee registration link.
- Attendance is mandatory at the ball for all cadet officers and junior class officers (no charge for these cadets to attend).
- The Valentine Ball is equivalent to prom for our cadets, with the focus on honoring our cadets. We kindly ask that any young children in attendance be supervised by their family at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Charcuterie boards with meats, cheeses and other snacks will be available.
- The Grand March will officially open the dance at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Valentine Ball Queen Coronation (queen selected from the cadets' dates; pageant guests are not eligible).
- Appropriate dress for the Valentine Ball: Tuxedos for gentlemen and evening gowns for ladies are always appropriate for military balls, but business suits and dinner dresses are also appropriate. The faculty will be in dress uniform, tuxedos, suits, formal gowns and dinner dresses.
9:30 p.m. Cadet check out, Company Offices
After the Valentine Ball, parents may check out their cadets with their respective CLAs in the company offices (within the barracks) for overnight. Cadets must report back by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9.

Cadets may check out with their families for dinner on Friday night from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Following room inspection on Saturday, cadets may check out with their families. Cadets attending the Valentine Ball must return by 5:00 p.m. Saturday to prepare for the ball; they may then check out with their families again after the ball. Cadets not attending the Valentine Ball may check out after room inspection on Saturday through 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Please check in and out with CLAs in the barracks.
