The USS Springfield Base of the United States Submarine Veterans is a local chapter, or “base,” of United States Submarine Veterans, Inc., located in St. Louis, Missouri. Like all USSVI bases, it is a fraternal organization for veterans who qualified in submarines and served honorably in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.

The base is named after the USS Springfield (SSN-761), a Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine that honors the cities of Springfield, Illinois, and Springfield, Massachusetts.

Missouri Military Academy congratulates Cadet Xiao on this well-deserved honor and thanks the USS Springfield Base of the United States Submarine Veterans for their continued support of cadet achievement and leadership development.
