New MMA Partnership Unlocks $68M in College Scholarship Opportunities for Cadets

Missouri Military Academy (MMA) kicked off its new partnership with VU Scholarships on November 19, 2024, during an event in the Barnard Hall Atrium attended by the entire Corps of Cadets. The partnership provides MMA seniors with access to a vast array of scholarship opportunities, opening doors to higher education across the country.

Thanks to this collaboration, MMA seniors are now eligible for scholarships totaling $68,336,528 in potential funding from two- and four-year colleges and universities nationwide. The VU Scholarships program works by matching each cadet's academic achievements with available scholarship opportunities from participating institutions.

The best part? No extra work is required on the part of the cadets. VU Scholarships automatically matches each senior’s academic accomplishments with relevant scholarship offers. Once matched, cadets can view the list of scholarship opportunities available to them. From there, they can decide whether to apply to a particular college or university.

MMA is excited about this new initiative and the possibilities it opens for the Class of 2025. By connecting cadets with a wide range of scholarships, the VU Scholarships program helps ensure that every cadet has the chance to explore the best post-high school options available.

For more information or assistance with the scholarship process, reach out to Director of College & Career Placement Cameo Wells via email or at 573-581-1776 ext. 228.

This partnership marks an exciting step forward in MMA’s ongoing commitment to helping cadets secure a bright future beyond graduation.

Please note that these opportunities are not scholarship offers. The scholarship deadlines and requirements are still in place (and the responsibility of the cadet).
