MMA Class of 2027 Qualifies for More Than $100 Million in Potential College Scholarships

Missouri Military Academy’s Class of 2027 has reached a new milestone in its college planning journey, qualifying for more than $100.5 million in potential scholarship funding through VU Scholarships.

MMA cadets gathered in Barnard Hall atrium on Sept. 18, 2026, for the annual VU Scholarship Reveal, where seniors learned the results of scholarship matches with colleges and universities across the country.

The Class of 2027 received 2,182 potential scholarship offers totaling $100,549,870. The results represent scholarships for which cadets qualify based on academic information such as GPA and test scores.

VU Scholarships is a scholarship-pairing system involving more than 100 colleges. The program matches cadets’ academic profiles with scholarships available from participating institutions, helping families discover college options and potential financial awards before cadets complete the application process. Cadets must still apply to the colleges and meet applicable scholarship requirements and deadlines.

During the reveal, cadets were recognized according to the total value of their potential scholarship opportunities. Twelve members of the Class of 2027 qualified for $3 million or more, including four cadets in the $3.5 million–$4 million range and one cadet whose potential opportunities exceeded $4 million.

The results continue strong scholarship outcomes through MMA’s partnership with VU Scholarships. Last year’s Class of 2026 received 2,122 potential offers totaling $97,662,776. Over the past three years, MMA cadets have qualified for $285,207,410 in potential scholarships, not including the current junior class.

Juniors Get an Early Look at College Opportunities

This year’s reveal also gave the Class of 2028 an early look at the opportunities that may be available to them.

MMA’s 46 juniors currently have 1,964 potential scholarship offers totaling $92,154,192. Because juniors still have another year of academic work ahead of them, those figures are a snapshot and may change as their academic profiles develop.

Juniors are encouraged to use their results to begin researching colleges, while seniors can use their matches to help identify schools to which they may want to apply.

Parents Can Explore Scholarship Opportunities, Too

Parents can see their cadet’s scholarship opportunities through the VU Scholarships Parent Portal, giving families a way to explore college and scholarship possibilities together.

Through the portal, parents can view real-time award details, including exact dollar amounts, college matches and next steps. They can also see how their cadet’s GPA may affect scholarship opportunities.

To access the VU Scholarships Parent Portal:

  1. Go to the App Store and search for “VU Scholarships,” or visit parent.vuscholarships.com/setup.
  2. Download the app and select parent/guardian login.
  3. Enter your email address to receive a verification code.
  4. Log in to view your cadet’s real-time scholarship award details, college matches and next steps.

The VU Scholarship results are designed to help cadets and families identify possibilities, research institutions and make informed decisions about where to apply. For seniors, the next step is especially important: a scholarship match does not replace the college application process. Cadets must still apply to the institution and meet its scholarship requirements and deadlines.

Please note: VU Scholarship matches are potential scholarship opportunities, not final scholarship offers. Cadets must apply to the participating colleges or universities and meet applicable admission, scholarship and deadline requirements.
