Understanding College Financial Aid – Fall 2022 Webinars

Applying for college and determining how you will pay for it can raise a lot of questions. MMA aims to help cadets and families navigate the process as informed, empowered individuals. For your knowledge, MMA is encouraging cadets and their families to tune in for St. Louis University’s virtual webinars relating to the college financial aid process — “Financial Aid 101” and "FAFSA Workshop." 

These presentations are designed to help seniors and their families navigate the financial aid process and receive answers to questions they have from an expert. The presentations are free to attend but require pre-registration. Click the links below to register for these webinars…

Thurs. Sept. 15, 6:30 p.m. (CST): Financial Aid 101

Covers the financial aid process and answers common questions related to types of aid you might be eligible for, applying for aid, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. 

Tues. Oct. 11, 6:30 p.m. (CST): FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Workshop

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) presentation explains the scholarship and financial aid process and prepares you to complete your FAFSA. 


As a reminder, the 2023-2024 FAFSA can be submitted as early as Oct. 1, 2022 using income and tax information from 2021.
