Following graduation from MMA in 1979, Nardoni earned his Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University, a master’s in business administration from Universidad Panamericana and a master’s in advanced information technology and business management from the University of Wales. He also holds certifications as a certified coding associate (CCA), Cisco certified network associate (CCNA) and Microsoft certified systems engineer (MCSE).
An information technology expert with 20 years’ experience developing and executing IT strategies, Nardoni today serves as a highly educated and skilled leader for the U.S. Department of Treasury in the Office of Financial Research. Originally hired as director of IT infrastructure, engineering and operations, he quickly moved up the ranks to associate chief information officer and then to his current role as deputy chief technology officer and associate director.
Among his most notable accomplishments at the treasury, Nardoni orchestrated the IT planning and execution of the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act related to the technical application of collecting, processing, analyzing and publishing financial data.
His contributions to the financial stability and security of the U.S. economy have been, and continue to be, invaluable. MMA is proud to recognize him and his achievements as one of our noteworthy alumni.
