New Missouri Military Academy Cadets Officially Initiated into the 132nd Corps of Cadets

On March 5, 2021, new Missouri Military Academy (MMA) cadets were officially inducted into the 132nd MMA Corps of Cadets at the Spring Passing Through Ceremony. See list of new cadets below.

The Passing Through Ceremony is a MMA tradition that officially welcomes new cadets into the corps following their successful completion of the Crucible, Maroon Phase training and handbook test.

The Crucible is a series of physical and mental obstacles intended to test endurance and perseverance, emphasize succeeding as a team and build self-confidence. By encouraging cadets to push themselves harder than their perceived limits, they realize a new level of their own potential. (View photos from the spring 2021 Crucible.) Maroon Phase training and handbook tests consist of learning MMA regulations, honor code and decorum.

To signify their official rank in the corps, new cadets were awarded their MMA hat brass – an emblem which mirrors the MMA crest – and black shoulder boards.

Upon the recommendation of the Promotion Board, the following new cadet promotions are made for the school year 2020-2021 and hereby authorized in the Corp of Cadets:
