Missouri Military Academy Takes Third in AMSCUS National Physical Training Competition

In March 2021, Missouri Military Academy placed in the top three in the Association of Military Colleges & Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) National Physical Training Competition. See list of MMA cadet participants below.

For the competition, cadets were judged on a timed 1.5 mile run and by the maximum number of pushups and sit ups they could perform in two minutes. Results were recorded by Academy leadership, and scoring was conducted by AMCSUS.

“The cadets worked hard but obviously third place was not where they wanted to be,” said Commandant Col. Grabowski. “Nevertheless, their achievement shows there has been much improvement in overall physical fitness within the corps. Next year will be better.”

Physical training competition participants chosen to compete from MMA include the following:

  • Patricio Regis

  • Timothy Varley

  • Isaac Way

  • Sun Kit Tsui
