MMA to Host JROTC Drill Competition on Jan. 15

Due to the inclement weather forecasted for Saturday, Jan. 15, the drill team competition planned to be held on MMA’s campus has been canceled.

MMA alumni, families and friends,

On January 15, 2022, Missouri Military Academy (MMA) will host the first-ever MMA Drill Competition on campus (204 North Grand Street, Mexico, Missouri). If you are able, we invite you to attend and cheer on your Fusileers Drill Team and Color Guard.

Due to most cadets hailing from outside the local area, it is difficult for many family and friends to attend athletic competitions, so what better way to show your MMA support than to cheer on our cadets in-person, from the stands? Your presence will make a difference as the cadets see pride and feel encouragement from their extended MMA family.

When: January 15, 2022

Where: Missouri Military Academy, 204 North Grand St. Mexico, MO 65265. Competitions will take place in Centennial Gymtorium and the Alain M. Garcia Almada ’06 Field House. See campus map.

For those who cannot attend, select events will also be recorded and shared later on MMA’s YouTube channel.

Time: 0800-1600 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Wear your MMA swag to show your support! If you do not have any swag, call MMA Quartermaster Rick Dehlinger at (573) 581-1776, ext. 325, to place an order by phone. The order will be ready for you to pick up in the Alain M. Garcia Almada ’06 Field House when you arrive.

Questions? Contact Rick Dehlinger, MMA Class of ’93, at (904) 703-9515 or (573) 581-1776, ext. 325, for more information.
