MMA Fusileers Drill Team Wins 7 Awards at Lee's Summit North High School Competition

On Saturday, Jan. 14, the Missouri Military Academy Fusileer Drill Team traveled to Lee’s Summit North High School for an Army JROTC competition. Twenty-one schools from Missouri, Kansas and Iowa competed. Watch the video below to see the competition. 

The team awards are as follows:

  • Second place, Armed Exhibition
  • Second place, Armed Regulation
  • Third place, Inspection
  • Fourth place, Armed Color Guard
  • Fourth place, Unarmed Regulation 
  • Fifth place, Unarmed Color Guard 
  • Seventh place, Unarmed Exhibition 

MMA Drill Commander Gage Blanton ’23 wore Kemper Military School and College and Wentworth Military Academy pins in honor of their alumni.
