Two MMA Cadet Technology Teams will conduct classes for members of the faculty and staff later this month.  The Cadets are part of a program known as Teens Teach Tech, which is supported by AT&T.

The two sessions during the afternoon of Wednesday, October 8, will be the first time that the Technology Teams will offer training for adults.  The two teams are led by Cadets Daniel Bravo and Eric Shellabarger.

Cadet Bravo says the presentations by the teams will provide the staff and faculty with information about technology usage, password security, and protection against viruses.
Cadet Bravo emphasized the need for caution against fake emails.  They can lead to serious issues such as identity theft and bank account fraud.  He noted that today, identity theft and bank account fraud are common and increasingly prevalent.  Cadet Bravo urged faculty and staff to attend the meetings so they will not be vulnerable to identity theft and bank fraud, and so they can learn about other technology issues.

AT&T will donate money to the MMA Cyber Program based on the number of adults who attend the two courses.

Classes will be held in the MMA Memorial Chapel Theater at 1:00 PM and 2:45 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

After the classes for MMA faculty and staff, the Cadet Technology Teams will go into the community to share their knowledge and expertise with other adult groups.
