The Memorial Chapel at Missouri Military Academy is more than brick and mortar—it is the spiritual heart of our campus and a living memorial to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Constructed in 1961 through the generosity of MMA alumni, families, and friends, this sacred space honors fallen alumni, cadets, faculty, staff, and first responders while serving as the location for Vespers, a time when cadets gather for spiritual development and reflection each week.
Today, our beloved chapel's iconic steeple needs critical restoration. Time and weather have compromised the upper two tiers, requiring immediate attention to preserve this symbol of MMA's enduring legacy.
The comprehensive restoration project will include:
- Complete exterior restoration of the upper steeple
- Critical structural repairs and reinforcement
- Installation of new water protection systems
- Custom fabrication to maintain the steeple's historic design
Just as previous generations of alumni, families, and friends united to build this memorial to service and sacrifice, we now call on our community to help preserve it. The Chapel, with its six white columns of strength, eternal flame, and sacred spaces for reflection, represents the core of MMA's mission to develop the mind, body, and spirit of each cadet.
