MMA Cadets Selected for All-District Choirs

Top vocal talent! Three MMA cadets have won positions in the Northeast Missouri District Choir. Cadet Lafferty (bass) and Cadet Krentz (bass) were selected for the 9/10 grade district choir, and Cadet Daigle (tenor) was selected for the 11/12 grade district choir. Cadets were required to sing a solo for a judge and then move to a new room with a different judge to sight-sing several exercises. These cadets will attend a day-long rehearsal on November 4, culminating in a concert. Additionally, on that day, Cadet Daigle, a high school senior, will audition for the all-state choir.

Accompanied by MMA choir director Ted Brauker, Cadets Lafferty, Krentz, Daigle, Joiner, Stallone and Carlson attended the Northeast Missouri District Choir Festival audition on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Hannibal High School.
