MMA Cadets Excel in First Cyber CTF Competition Appearance

Missouri Military Academy (MMA) cyber cadets debuted their skills at the Missouri State Cyber Capture the Flag (CTF) competition. Competing for the first time, the team — Cadets Eric Shellabarger, Sean Mumm and William Larson — secured 16th place out of 77 teams.

“Though we will not move on to the finals, I congratulate the cadets,” said Jason Landrum, AJROTC cybersecurity instructor. “For our first year competing in this event, they worked extremely hard and dedicated many hours to achieve an excellent result in their inaugural attempt.”
