MMA Band Earns Top Honors at National Military School Band and Choir Festival

The Missouri Military Academy Band traveled to Virginia to compete at the 44th annual National Military School Band and Choir Festival held at Randolph-Macon Academy February 21-23, 2020.

For the third straight year, MMA Band won the Ronald Horton award (the best prepared school award) at the festival. 

Additional honors included six first chair placings for the following cadets:

  • Victor Patino
  • Michael Machary-Pagan
  • Luke McKean
  • Ruhan Chowrira
  • Bradford Wright
  • Bryce Bowen

Congratulations to Cadet Diego Lopez for winning the drum major competition — a first for MMA.

2020 Maroon & Gold Recap

Due to COVID-19 and the social distancing protocols and contained campus implemented to protect the health and safety of all, the 2020 Maroon & Gold was turned into a virtual event. Cadets, faculty and staff came together to produce an incredible production, and support from the MMA community helped raise over $75,000 for cadet programs.
