Missouri Military Academy (MMA) honored Erin L. Schreyer of Dallas, Texas, for her dedication to the Academy and support of its cadets during a commencement ceremony for the Class of 2022 on Saturday, May 21, 2022.

Schreyer and her husband Ed received the Robert Weaver Memorial Award, awarded for best exemplifying unconditional philanthropic effort, and Erin was additionally honored with the Order of St. George Award.

Established in 2018, the Order of St. George Award is awarded to recognize an individual who distinguished themselves through superior acts of selfless service, courage, accomplishment, professional performance, meritorious service, honor or character.

MMA President Brigadier General Richard V. Geraci, USA (Ret) lauded Schreyer for her outstanding performance while serving as president of the MMA Parents Committee from August 2019 through May 2022. During this period, which included the highly stressful COVID pandemic, she displayed the highest level of leadership, teamwork, support, and commitment, giving freely of her time, to support cadets and families.

“Erin's involvement, guidance, and selfless service during this period in our Academy's history reflects great credit upon herself and is in keeping with the highest traditions of Missouri Military Academy,” Geraci said.

Schreyer is a life coach, speaker and blogger. Her son Evan graduated with the Class of 2022 during the ceremony.
