2022 Maroon & Gold Gala Benefits Cadets with Record-Breaking Amount Raised

More than 300 parents, alumni, patrons, faculty, staff, friends and Board of Trustees members came together on campus to support the Academy at the 2022 Maroon & Gold Gala on April 23. Scroll down to see a list of our 2022 Maroon & Gold sponsors.

Two generous sponsors teamed up with a match challenge of $50,000 for Maroon & Gold 2022, making a significant positive impact. Thank you to MMA Board of Trustees Chairman Strib and Janie Koster and MMA Board of Trustees member Jim '86 and Amy Obenshain for matching up to $25,000 each.

Those in attendance, sponsors and other supporters demonstrated incredible support of the MMA mission, raising more than $210,000 (after expenses) — a new fundraising record for the event. On behalf of our cadets, thank you for supporting MMA cadet life and leadership programs, ensuring that cadets receive the transformational experience that teaches them to take command of their lives.

Funds raised at Maroon & Gold support MMA’s strategic plan objective to develop cadet life programs such as competitive band, athletic and military teams and strong intramural programs that attract and retain cadets, build esprit de corps, and encourage participation in recreational activities.

Throughout the gala, attendees celebrated how MMA helps young men fulfill their full potential. Two videos were shared that showcased the positive impact that MMA has had on cadets and their families.

MMA is committed to providing high-caliber 360° Education with a military educational model's emphasis upon structure, self-discipline and accountability. The MMA educational approach helps cadets learn how to take command of their lives and succeed.

Thank you again for the generous support. Below, see a few photos from the evening, plus one taken with President Richard V. Geraci and Cadet Walter Farley from Evansville, Indiana when Farley served as Dean for the Day, a privilege his family purchased as an auction item at Maroon & Gold. Please save the date for next year’s Maroon & Gold on April 22, 2023.
