Missouri Military Academy Presents the Colors at Kansas City Royals Game

The Missouri Military Academy Color Guard presented the colors at the Kansas City Royals game against the Boston Red Sox Sunday, August 7! Congratulations to Cadets Gorka-Aitor Yarte-Zertruche (Libson, Portugal), Gabriel Iglesias (San Salvador, El Salvador), Bradley Thumbi (Nairobi, Kenya) and Kellan Mugisha (Kigali, Rwanda) for proudly representing the Academy through this honor.

Bravo Company won the Leadership Cadre Camp competition and earned a trip to attend the game with the Color Guard where the Royals beat the Red Sox 13-5.

In recent years, the Color Guard has presented the colors at Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals games, as well as at key events across the state, such as the state FBLA conference. The Color Guard competes nationally every year. Last year, they placed fourth in the nation in the Armed Masters Division, and Cadet Michael Machary-Pagan earned first place in the nation for armed commander.

Thank you to Fusileers Drill Team coach Rick Dehlinger for the photos.
