Leadership Designations Announced for 2022-23 Academic Year

Upon the recommendation of the Designation Board and the approval of the Commandant, the following designations are made for the 2022-2023 school year and are hereby authorized for the 134th Missouri Military Academy Corps of Cadets:

Battalion Command Group

Battalion Commander Marco Afane from La Libertad, El Salvador

Battalion Executive Officer Gorka-Aitor Yarte-Zertuche from Lisbon, Portugal

Battalion Sergeant Major Gage Blanton from Newburg, Missouri

Cadet Gabriel Iglesias Osorio has been designated 1st Sergeant for Bravo Company and will assume his role in fall 2022.

1st Sergeant Gabriel Canonico from Falls City, Nebraska

Cadet Brett Miles from Dallas, Texas, will hold responsibility as Charlie Company Commander in fall 2022.

Company Commander Kellan Mugisha from Rwanda

Executive Officer Peter Didicher from Hinsdale, Illinois

1st Sergeant Roy Kioko from St. Louis, Missouri

Cadet Roy Kioko from St. Louis, Missouri, will serve as Delta Company 1st Sergeant in fall 2022.
