Missouri Military Academy JROTC Cyber Teams Compete in Fall 2024 CTF

Missouri Military Academy’s (MMA) JROTC Cyber teams achieved strong results in the fall 2024 JROTC Cyber Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, earning top placements across multiple divisions.

The Academy’s new CY1 (cadets in their first year of the cyber program) teams excelled, securing 1st, 3rd and 4th place among 12 CY1 teams. The CY3 teams (cadets in their third year of the cyber program) also delivered impressive performances, taking 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place out of 10 CY3 teams.

This year’s competition followed a revised format, with teams competing strictly within their year groups. Previously, MMA teams competed across different year levels, earning first-place finishes in CY1 (fall 2023), CY2 (spring 2024) and overall in spring 2024.

Looking ahead to spring 2025, the Academy will introduce new CY1 and CY2 teams in the CTF competition. MMA is the only school in the cyber pilot program with a CY4 class, so they will still compete as CY3.
