Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the world's largest business career student organization. FBLA’s national awards program recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Through state-based competition at the spring State Leadership Conferences, students compete in events testing their business knowledge and skills. Top state winners then are eligible to compete for honors at the National Leadership Conference each summer.

Last year, MMA’s FBLA International Business and Sports and Entertainment Management teams competed at the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Chicago June 29-July 2.

The MMA Sports and Entertainment Management team who qualified for nationals included Cadets Marco Afane, Anthony Melick, and Jack Stalnaker (Morrison, Colorado). Cadets Nyeal Biedenstein (St. Louis, Missouri), René Garcia Garza (Cadereyta Jimenez, N.L., Mexico) and Michael Henderson (Greenbrier, Arkansas) made up the International Business team.
