As part of the Tyronn Lue Day of Service for the Mexico community, the Corps of Cadets at Missouri Military Academy (MMA) demonstrated their commitment to service during the fall community service day on September 20, 2024. Cadets volunteered at a wide range of locations across the local community, engaging in projects that included cleaning, yard work, classroom assistance, sewing and setting up equipment. Cadets participate in two service days per year, once each semester.

These projects not only contributed to the well-being of local organizations but also gave cadets the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in service, one of MMA’s core values. Annually, MMA cadets contribute roughly 8,000 hours of service to their community, cultivating a spirit of selflessness and an early understanding of philanthropy.

As part of their 360° Education at MMA, community service helps cadets develop a sense of direction and belonging while giving back to the community that supports them.
