MMA Cadets Perform at District Choir Event, Fall 2025

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Cadets Benjamin Bryant, Owen French, Thomas Fitzsimmons, Tristan Lewis, and Jacob Stallone joined choir director Ted Brauker at Troy High School for the district choir performances. The group spent the day rehearsing and performing alongside talented students from across the region under the direction of esteemed clinicians from Central Methodist University and the University of Central Missouri.

Dr. Tom Clark, professor at Central Methodist University, served as the 9th–10th Grade District Choir Director, leading the mass choir in a dynamic day of music and learning.

While our cadets performed exceptionally well and demonstrated great dedication, the state choir results revealed that none of our singers advanced this year. Selection for the state choir is an extremely competitive process, with only four singers per section chosen to move forward.

“I am very proud of their effort and the learning that took place to get them to this point,” said choir director Ted Brauker. “Making it to districts is already a praiseworthy accomplishment.”
