Coming soon — Cadre Leadership Camp 2025!
Led by our Army JROTC department and interim Commandant MAJ Wayne Welander, USA (Ret), Missouri Military Academy's (MMA) Cadet Cadre Leadership Camp is an intensive training program designed to prepare designated cadet leaders for their leadership roles in the upcoming school year. In the feature photo above, President Geraci shared his guidance with the 2024-25 cadet leaders during the 2024 Cadre Leadership Camp.

Participating cadets will report to Cadre Leadership Camp 2025 on Friday, August 1.

Approximately 50 cadets who have been designated as cadet leaders for 2025-26, plus up-and-coming cadet leaders, will participate in the 2025 training. More than 30 additional leadership positions will be filled and announced immediately following the completion of the Cadet Cadre Leadership Camp, giving even more cadets the opportunity to step up, grow and lead.

Through a comprehensive curriculum, cadets participating in the camp receive instruction in key areas such as:

  • Leader Character

  • The Art of Leadership

  • Leadership Traits and Principles

  • Discipline

  • Team Building

  • Responsibility and Accountability

  • Goal Setting

  • Counseling

Emphasis is placed on the importance of treating fellow cadets with respect and dignity, reinforcing the values that define effective leadership. The camp concludes with cadets taking the Cadet Leader’s Pledge and signing the Cadet Leader Contract, symbolizing their commitment to uphold these principles.
