Support and Guidance in a Structured, Military Environment

MMA offers a structured, military environment where discipline, responsibility, and positive reinforcement are at the core of our approach. Our cadets thrive in an atmosphere that promotes accountability and supports them as they set and achieve goals. Cadets are elevated through rank systems and awards, their personal motivation fostered and fueled in MMA’s culture of achievement.

Rigorous Academics with Multiple Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) Courses

Our academic program is rigorous and designed to challenge cadets while providing them with the knowledge and skills needed for success in higher education and beyond. With small class sizes averaging 14 students, personalized attention fosters an environment where questions are encouraged, and individual needs are addressed. Guided study hall sessions complement classroom instruction, providing a structured space for reinforcement and the development of effective study habits. Our block schedule strategically limits cadets to four classes per semester, mirroring a college format and allowing for deeper focus and understanding.

Character Development and Community Service

Integrity is a cornerstone of the MMA experience. Read about our values here. In addition to their academic and military training, cadets participate in community service projects. An important component of cadets' 360° Education at MMA, community service provides an early understanding of philanthropy and a sense of direction and belonging for cadets. It promotes empowerment, self-worth, and empathy, and it develops social, emotional and physical skills.

Leadership Training

Leadership training is integral to our program. Through our JROTC education, cadets receive leadership training, gain real-life experience and learn the values of ethical leadership. These opportunities help them develop critical thinking, teamwork, time management, problem solving, and decision making skills that will put them far ahead of their peers after they graduate from MMA.

Caring, Qualified Faculty and Staff

In our close-knit MMA community, faculty and staff engage in relational learning, tailoring their methods to each cadet's unique personality, strengths, and challenges. Robust Music and Arts Programs

MMA's music program is exceptional, offering a wide range of opportunities for cadets to explore their musical talents. From the marching band and wind ensemble to the jazz band, choir, and even bagpipes, there is something for every musical interest. We also offer private music lessons, allowing cadets to hone their skills with individual instruction.

Athletic Excellence

We believe in the importance of physical fitness and teamwork. Our athletic programs are diverse, with opportunities to participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, equestrian, drill, football, golf, Raiders, rifle, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, and wrestling. All cadets participate in MMA Colonels Athletics, ensuring that everyone is active and no one is left on the sidelines.

A Campus Designed for Adventure and Growth

Our 288-acre campus provides endless opportunities for exploration and adventure. With features such as a paintball field, obstacle courses, rock climbing wall, horse stables, a lake for fishing, athletic fields, cadets can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Our state-of-the-art facilities, including the academic building, living barracks, mess hall, library, chapel, fitness center, indoor competitive swimming pool, and more, offer everything a young man needs to grow and thrive.
