MMA JROTC Raider Teams Earn Top-Five Finishes at 2026 Home Meet

Missouri Military Academy’s JROTC Raider teams delivered a strong performance Sept. 19, 2026, at the Academy's home meet, with the MMA A team earning third place overall in the male division and the B team finishing fifth.

The multi-state meet brought approximately 350 people from 19 teams to campus for a day of competition. Teams competed in male, mixed and female divisions.

The meet took advantage of MMA’s 288-acre back campus and the Cortada Confidence Course, giving competitors the opportunity to put their physical fitness, teamwork and determination to the test in a challenging campus setting.

MMA’s back campus provides a setting for outdoor training and team-building activities, including obstacle courses, trails, a cross-country course, a paintball field and a rappel tower. The area is also home to the Cortada Confidence Course, a Marine Corps-style obstacle course that challenges cadets through a series of physical and team-based obstacles.

The MMA A team, led by team captain Cadet Daniel Bravo, earned third place overall in the male division. The team placed first in the Gauntlet, second in the Physical Team Test and third in Cross Country Litter Rescue.

One of the highlights of the competition came in the Gauntlet, where the A team finished ahead of long-time rival Leavenworth High School.
