Cadet Creativity on Display at the 2026 Epple Art Show and Maroon & Gold

MMA family and friends will see cadet creativity on display during Spring Family Weekend, through the Epple Art Show and Maroon & Gold.

The 2026 Epple Memorial Art Show features the work of middle school and high school cadets, with artwork on display in Barnard Hall on April 17 and 18.

Held annually, the Epple Memorial Art Show honors Drs. Robert and Kathryn Epple, prominent physicians in Mexico during the 1950s and 1960s, and their family. A 1943 graduate of Missouri Military Academy, Dr. Robert Epple served as the Academy physician for 13 years.

The show highlights artwork created by cadets who have studied under the direction of art teacher Cheryl Morris during the academic year. Please see our Flickr page for art show photos.

Maroon & Gold Showcase Centerpieces

Under the guidance of instructor Cheryl Morris, cadets in Art Fundamentals, Advanced Art and Middle School Art created centerpiece artwork for the Maroon & Gold Showcase. From hydro-dipped bottles to bold Cubist-inspired faces, each piece reflects creativity, focus and a willingness to explore new techniques.

These works are featured as centerpieces during the Maroon & Gold Showcase.
