MMA Cadets Earn Honors in 2025 AMCSUS Annual Competitions

Demonstrating outstanding academic excellence, military bearing, teamwork, and physical training, Missouri Military Academy (MMA) cadets earned multiple honors in the 2025 Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) annual competitions.

Results were announced at the 2026 AMCSUS Awards Banquet, held on February 23, 2026, at the Westin Hotel in Alexandria, VA, where MMA cadets received awards in physical training (PT), drill, and academic bowl competitions.

High School Division

Physical Training (PT) Competition — 2nd Place
Team members: Cadets Rfred Cordero, Deonte Kerns, Jacob Stallone, Luis Rey and Eric Shellabarger

Drill Competition — 2nd Place
Team members: Cadets Duane Thompson, John Trippe, Beckett Sears, Bryce McIlwain, Aaden Bado, Tru Jones, Tegan Compton, River Punab-Mitchell, Rfred Cordero and Daniel Bravo

Academic Bowl — 3rd Place
Team members: Cadets Kam Ho Liu, Christopher Song, Enkh-Ireedui Altangerel, Heshun Xiao and John Shadonix

The annual AMCSUS conference brings together member schools from across the country to recognize excellence in cadet programs and highlight achievements in academics, leadership, and physical readiness.
