MMA Cadets Earn 22 Medals and Qualify for State at FBLA Districts

Missouri Military Academy cadets showcased outstanding performances at the Future Business Leaders of America district competition on Friday, February 2, earning a total of 22 medals out of 18 participating cadets. Accompanied by advisors Peggy Reynard and Roger Siwak, along with the support of COL Dana Raynard, the high school cadets traveled to the Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri. Eight cadets also demonstrated commendable skills by finishing in the top 10 for their respective events, despite not securing a medal. The MMA Color Guard also participated by presenting the colors. Featured photo above by Cadet Jacob Pehle.

This year's achievements are a testament to the continued excellence of our cadets, following the notable successes of last year's FBLA state competition. In 2023, two MMA teams secured positions within the top 10 in the state, setting a strong foundation for this year's accomplishments.

See the list of medalists below. Please note that qualifications to advance to the state competition vary by the type of event. If the event is an online test, the top five winners qualify for state. If the event is a team competition, the top two winners qualify for state. If a state qualifier cannot compete, then the next winner will move up and be able to compete. At this date, MMA cadets have qualified for state competition in nine events. The state competition will take place April 14-16, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri.

Congratulations to our talented cadets for these impressive achievements!
