1889 Scholarship Supporters Make a $20,000+ Difference for Cadets

On September 18, 2021, Missouri Military Academy (MMA) recognized the alumni, families, friends and staff who have supported MMA cadets through the 1889 Scholarship Fund in 2020 and 2021. So far, their support has already generated more than $20,000 for MMA cadet scholarships. 65% of the 2021-22 MMA Corps of Cadets receive financial aid to attend the Academy.

“Financial aid support enables us to provide a life-changing education to cadets who wouldn’t be able to attend MMA without help. Programs like the 1889 Scholarship Fund are essential to support families who seek an MMA education for their sons,” said Vice President for Institutional Advancement Rob Silbaugh. “We are immensely thankful to those who commit their support for MMA cadets and give each month.”

With a recurring gift of $18.89 each month or $226.68 each year, 1889 Scholarship donors provide ongoing gifts to support cadet education. To become an 1889 Scholarship supporter, contact Vice President for Institutional Advancement Rob Silbaugh at 573.581.1776 ext. 230. Learn about the 1889 Scholarship.

Thank you, 1889 Scholarship Supporters!
