On November 30, the Missouri Military Academy Colonels high school wrestling team traveled to Wright City for a quad meet, which also included South Callaway and Winfield. The team saw great success, winning each of the three duals. Read on for results from Coach Iman on the winning performances.
MMA 54, South Callaway 18
Cadets Deonte Kerns and Russell Olson both earned a pin late in the first period, while Cadet Ryan Miles earned his pin in the second period.
MMA 52, Wright City 20
Cadet Trae Griffiths won by pin while Cadet David Trevino won by major decision, 20-9.
MMA 66, Winfield 6
Cadet Trae Griffiths came away with a 45-second pin. Cadets Blake Krull, David Trevino and Gabriel Ontiveros each pinned their opponent in just over a minute into the match.
