See MMA cadets at the annual Soybean Parade in Mexico, MO!
A community and Academy tradition, MMA cadets will participate in the annual Soybean Parade in Mexico, Missouri on Saturday, August 26. Following the parade, cadets will have two hours to enjoy festival activities in the square. Then, they will form up and march back to campus together as a corps.
Cadets are not permitted to leave the square, but MMA families are welcome to join their cadet and enjoy the festival. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. See parade route below.
The Soybean Parade features a wide variety of floats and vehicles from around the Mexico, Missouri area. The parade will feature over 60 entries, ranging from giant farm machinery to small groups of walkers, as well as marching bands, fire trucks, classic cars, community organizations and local businesses.
The parade begins at Mexico High School and ends at the Mexico Square, traveling east on Love Street, turning south on Clark Street, where it proceeds east on Monroe Street around the square, turning south on Jefferson and then exiting at Jackson and Coal.
