Once you have submitted your completed application through Admissions, complete and submit the separate financial aid application, including all required financial documentation. 

Yes. Many families mistakenly think that they will not qualify for aid and miss out on the opportunity simply by not applying.

No. The decision to accept a student is independent of financial need.

No. A family can apply for aid at any time during the application process. However, a determination of award amount will not be made until a student has been accepted to Missouri Military Academy.

Yes, during the school year, poor conduct by a cadet or a lack of academic effort by the cadet is cause for revocation or reduction of a financial aid award for the academic year.

Families that wish to utilize financial aid for the following year must submit updated tax forms, but they do not need to resubmit the financial aid application. Additionally, students must be in good standing with the school in order to qualify for financial aid.

The Financial Aid Committee reviews each financial aid application and documentation once a student has been accepted to the academy. Typical turnaround times for award notifications are between 48-72 business hours.

The Financial Aid Committee reviews each application and income documentation before making a determination. Aid is awarded each year on a first come, first served basis. It is not possible to know an exact amount prior to the committee's review. However, speaking with your admissions counselor can help you better understand the process and discuss affordability issues.

The Lester Gehm '57 Memorial Trust provides interest-free financing to families of MMA high school cadets that are U.S. citizens and who have completed a full academic year at MMA and demonstrated the need for assistance. 

Missouri Military Academy understands that sometimes, it's just not possible to make tuition payments in a lump sum, that's why we offer convenient and affordable payment plans to help families. Additionally, MMA  has partnered with outside financing options to give families even greater flexibility.  

Yes. Some families can make up to $10,000 in annual tax-free withdrawals for pre-college educational expenses. The laws vary by state, so please check with your financial advisor for details.
