Our golf team’s mission is to make it to the state tournament. Head Coach Yannielli is excited to lead our competitive varsity and junior varsity golfers. The Fighting Colonels are ready to dominate the course!
The MMA Fighting Colonels play our contests at Arthur Hills, which features a par 71 course and an 18-hole track. The local public course consists of 6148 yards from the tips and has four sets of tees.
Anthony Yannielli, Head Golf Coach
Coach Yannielli has been coaching golf at MMA since 2019, bringing over ten years of personal golfing experience to cadets. According to Yannielli, golf is an extremely rewarding yet frustrating sport, so he aims to incorporate lessons of self-discipline, patience and control into practice.
“The main thing I try to teach cadets is to have fun golfing, work hard to get better every day – not just as a golfer, but as a person – and to control themselves through frustration,” Yannielli said. “In the end, I hope cadets fall in love with golf.”
