Missouri Military Academy Wrestling Coach Levi Iman

Levi Iman, Head Wrestling Coach

With a coaching journey spanning over a decade, Levi Iman has honed his skills and expertise in both football and wrestling, primarily focusing on youth and middle school athletes. He has coached at MMA since 2019, assuming the role of head wrestling coach in 2023.

Coach Iman's own journey in the world of wrestling began when he wrestled and played football throughout high school. His passion for the sport continued into college, where he wrestled competitively.

"Wrestling found me at a pivotal point in my life and has helped shape my life since then," says Coach Iman. "It has become a passion in my life to help athletes find their way through the many life lessons that wrestling will teach."

As the head wrestling coach at MMA, his primary focus is on helping MMA cadets fulfill their potential in the wrestling program, building both their competitiveness, character and the overall success of the Colonels' program. He works tirelessly with his athletes to enhance their knowledge and skill in the sport, aiming for continuous improvement. Coach Iman strongly emphasizes fostering teamwork and leadership among his athletes, recognizing these qualities as integral components of success in wrestling and life.

Thomas Allen, Assistant Wrestling Coach

Thomas Allen has nearly 20 years of experience coaching in football and wrestling. Prior to MMA, he had six years of experience coaching football and thirteen years of coaching wrestling. This experience is amplified by his personal experience with the sports – seven years playing competitive football, and sixteen years as a competitive wrestler.

Beyond his own athletic achievements, Allen has developed numerous State Championship wrestlers and over a dozen All-State wrestlers and football players.

“My main focus is on developing the skills of all athletes and taking them to their next level, regardless of where they are starting from,” Allen said. “I encourage my teams to work hard and listen. Together, we will achieve success.”

As a coach, Allen looks forward to helping cadets build a strong foundation for success, and is prepared to help them use their athletic abilities to succeed in their post-graduate lives.

“If any athlete wants to continue with their sport after high school, I will help them find a good college on the level where they will find the most success and maximum scholarship opportunities,” Allen said. “I have been successful doing this year after year for the past 30 seasons.”
