Madison Fitz was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. In high school, she competed in Forensics and Speech/Debate competitions. After high school, Fitz pursued a degree in Communications with a focus on Rhetoric and Public Relations. With guidance and prompting from her 8th grade English teacher, she decided to pursue a career in education. In 2015, Fitz received her Master of Education in Secondary English Language Arts Instruction. That summer she moved to Wray, Colorado for her first teaching position at Buchanan Middle School. After 3 years as a 7th and 8th grade English teacher and track and field coach at BMS, Fitz accepted the position of instructor at Missouri Military Academy. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, playing board games, hanging out in her tiny house, and exploring the back roads of middle America.
