SGT Jorge Bustos

International Admissions Counselor
B.B.A. Marketing, Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico
Jorge Bustos is originally from New Jersey, but grew up in Puerto Rico. He attended the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico where he earned a B.B.A. in Marketing.

Bustos works to recruit international cadets, but the most important part of his job is ensuring quality service for the families of MMA's cadets. He helps translate paperwork to Spanish and enjoys being a "big brother" figure to the cadets. Bustos counsels cadets when they need guidance and helps them any way he can.

Bustos served honorably as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. As an Aviation Ordnance Technician he was certified to work with high explosives, repairing and inspecting missile launchers and bomb racks for the F/A-18 Hornet. Because his roll came with a very high deployment rate, Bustos traveled all around the globe to places like Puerto Rico, Japan, Guam, Thailand, South Korea, Spain, Italy, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, a boat doing circles in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and the great state of South Carolina.
Bustos' half Colombian heritage brings with it a love of sports and a passion for soccer. He proclaims himself the biggest soccer and Real Madrid fan at MMA. James Rodriguez is his favorite player.
