The College Triumph Program is MMA’s dual-credit program partnership between MMA and Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. Qualified MMA high school junior and senior cadets will be able to take college courses - Essentials of Reading and Writing, Academic Writing, and World History.
These courses are designed to challenge our top cadets with a more rigorous schedule as they earn college credit. Classes will be held on MMA’s campus and taught by adjunct Westminster College instructors.
Westminster is a private liberal arts college that is well-recognized nationally, having been named among Forbes Magazine’s “Top Colleges and Universities” and “Best Liberal Arts Colleges,” in addition to a place on the U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of Best Colleges and the Princeton Review’s “Best in the Midwest.”
The College Triumph Program allows MMA’s top students to take college courses and earn college credits while they are in high school. This approach has a number of advantages: Students can demonstrate to top colleges and universities their ability to successfully complete and master college-level work, students better understand the amount of self-discipline it takes to perform academically at the college level, and college courses in prep school reduce a student’s cost and time in college.
As an exclusive academic program, the number of students who can participate is restricted. MMA’s strong partnership with Westminster resulted in a reasonable fee of $425.00 per three-credit course, and cadets are limited to no more than three courses per year.
