’84 Challenge for Memorial Chapel and Assembly Hall

“No son shall forget thy name.” We remember this phrase with fond memories, brotherhood and honor.

“Now the day is over, night is drawing nigh; shadows of the evening steal across the sky.” It’s another verse that brings back reflection and peace.

The Memorial Chapel and Assembly Hall is one of the last remaining original buildings on campus. Let’s help keep it in its original state with needed upgrades. The Alumni Association has raised $65,000 of the $100,000 needed to reach our pledge goal.

The Class of ’84 has pledged and raised $5,000 with an additional $1,000 being pledged this year for a total of $6,000. The Classes of ’88 and ’97 have accepted the challenge as of Homecoming 2018. Is your class next? Contact your class agent for more details.

The Memorial Chapel and Assembly Hall was Col. Stribling’s pride and joy, and it remains a commonality that transcends each of our classes. For that reason, we have combined two projects into one.
