US BOARDING SCHOOL CADETS TUITION

Base cost

2026-27 Tuition, Room & Board: $41,615 (full year); $20,807.50 (midterm enrollment)

Mandatory fees: $2,510, plus $3,455.99 uniform fee for new cadets or $816.38 uniform fee for returning cadets (includes tax)

  • Parent Committee Fee, $75

  • Laundry/Dry Cleaning Fee, $325
  • Athletics Fee, $600 ($200 per season — fall, winter, spring)
  • Cadet Accident Insurance, $160
  • Medical Clinic Fee, $135
  • Photography fee, $180 (includes official cadet photo in the fall, senior portrait in spring, and event photos throughout the year)
  • Yearbook, $125
  • Academic Planner, $10

Additional costs based on needs

Cadets may incur additional fees based on individual needs for the following:

  • medicinal dispensary services
  • equestrian program fee
  • private music lessons and equipment fees
  • prescriptions 
  • counseling 
  • additional uniform accoutrements
  • standardized tests
  • dual-credit college classes
  • special activities outside of school

NEW US BOARDING SCHOOL CADETS (FULL-YEAR ENROLLMENT) PAYMENT PLANS

Option 1 

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 (non-refundable) is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. Remaining tuition, room & board, and mandatory cadet fees of $42,580.99 due by registration.

All financial obligations must be met before the cadet is allowed to check in.

Option 2

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 (non-refundable) is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. The fee to select this plan is $250.
  3. First payment – 50% of remaining tuition, room and board, plus mandatory fees, and the uniform fee, due by registration - $22,023.49.
  4. Second payment – Remaining tuition and room & board ($20,807.50) due by December 15. 

Late payment fees apply. All financial obligations must be met before cadet is allowed to check in.

Option 3

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 (non-refundable) is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. The fee to select this plan is $550.
  3. (July) First payment due by registration - $6,139.88.
  4. Monthly payments - $4,623.89 due by the 15th of each month – August through March.

Late payment fees apply. All financial obligations must be met before the cadet is allowed to check-in.

RETURNING US BOARDING SCHOOL CADETS (FULL-YEAR ENROLLMENT) PAYMENT PLANS

Option 1 

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 (non-refundable) is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. Remaining tuition, room & board, and mandatory cadet fees of $39,941.38 due by registration.

All financial obligations must be met before the cadet is allowed to check in.

Option 2

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 (non-refundable) is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. The fee to select this plan is $250.
  3. First payment – 50% of remaining tuition, room & board, plus mandatory fees, and the uniform fee, due by registration - $19,383.88.
  4. Second payment – Remaining tuition and room & board ($20,807.50) due by December 15. 

Late payment fees apply. All financial obligations must be met before cadet is allowed to check in.

Option 3

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 (non-refundable) is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. The fee to select this plan is $550.
  3. First payment due by registration -  $3,500.26.
  4. Monthly payments - $4,623.89 due by the 15th of each month – August through March.

Late payment fees apply. All financial obligations must be met before the cadet is allowed to check-in.

NEW & RETURNING US BOARDING SCHOOL CADETS (MID-YEAR ENROLLMENT) PAYMENT PLANS

Option 1

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. Remaining tuition, room & board, and mandatory cadet fees due by registration of $20,960.99 for new boarding cadets or $18,321.38 for returning cadets.

All financial obligations must be met before cadet is allowed to check in.

Option 2

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. The fee to select this plan is $250.
  3. First payment – 50% of remaining tuition, room & board, plus mandatory fees due by registration - $10,807.24 for new boarding cadets or  $8,167.63 for returning cadets.
  4. Second payment – Remaining tuition and room & board due by March 15 - $10,403.75.

Option 3

  1. Initial tuition deposit of $5,000 is due with the enrollment agreement.
  2. The fee to select this plan is $550.
  3. First payment due by registration - $7,639.32 for new boarding cadets or $4,999.71 for returning cadets.
  4. Monthly payments - $6,935.83 due by the 15th of each month – February and March.
