U.S. Boarding School Cadets

Base cost
2023-24 Tuition, Room & Board: $39,500 (full year); $19,750 (midterm enrollment)
Uniform and accessories fee: $2,954 for new cadets; $595 for returning cadets (fees listed do not include tax)

Option 1
- Initial tuition deposit of $2,000 is due with the enrollment agreement.
- Remaining tuition, room & board, and mandatory cadet fees of $42,611.43 due by registration.
All financial obligations must be met before cadet is allowed to check in.
Option 2
- Initial tuition deposit of $2,000 is due with the enrollment agreement.
- The fee to select this plan is $200.
- First payment – 50% of remaining tuition, room & board, and mandatory fees due by registration - $21,405.72.
- Second payment – Remaining tuition, room & board, and mandatory fees due by December 15.

- Initial tuition deposit of $2,000 is due with the enrollment agreement.

We offer financial aid packages and payment plans customized to meet your family’s specific needs, in addition to grants and scholarships. We will do everything we can to help ensure young men have access to MMA's unique, transformative military school education.
Other Financial Aid Opportunities
Grants and scholarships listed below may be used in addition to need-based financial aid.
Grants & Scholarships
Leadership Grant: Up to $11,000
This grant is available to all qualified cadets who show leadership potential.
College Readiness Grant: $6,000
This grant is available to qualified cadets who possess the skills to succeed in high school and graduate from college in four years.
Boy Scout Leadership Scholarship: up to $8,000
This scholarship is awarded to new cadets with a 3.0 GPA or higher and who have exhibited good conduct and character in their previous school. Student must be a member of a Boy Scout Troop and in good standing.
NewDAY USA Foundation Grant: $15,000 (may be used in conjunction with other need-based aid)
The applicant’s parent or legal guardian must be one of the following:
- a fallen U.S. armed service member killed on active duty
- a U.S. veteran with a significant service-connected disability
- a U.S. veteran who has died due to a service-connected disability
- a member of the armed forces on extended/multiple deployments away from home
Priority is given to children whose parents or guardians have made the ultimate sacrifice, sustained significant disability, or endured significant disruption to family life due to the demands of military service.
Discount Opportunities
- Legacy Discount: 5% off tuition, provided to the descendants of grandfathers and/or fathers/stepfathers who attended
- MMA Sibling Discount: 5% off tuition if both siblings are attending MMA at the same time (each sibling will receive 5% discount)
- Parent Referral Program: $2,000 per cadet up to $4,000 (inquire for details and limitations)
- Open House Discount: $100 is waived, if all paperwork is completed and turned in at the time of open house
Special Loan Programs
The following are some low-interest and interest-free loan programs that have helped other MMA families make the gift of an education here affordable.
The Lester Gehm Memorial & Educational Fund
This program offers short-term, interest-free loans to worthy high school boys, who are citizens of the US or Canada. Worthiness is not determined by financial need alone. Other factors like personality and potential are considered too. Only one boy from each grade level is chosen. Third-Party Loan Programs
These loan programs help families spread payments to MMA over a longer term than our payment plans allow. Please contact them directly for current rates, fees and details.
