Application Process

The journey is different for every family. Most families hear about MMA from friends, alumni, current cadets, parents and families, but others search online, find us through a school website or another source. However you found us, let’s connect early in the process by phone. The call allows us to get to know more about your family and why you are considering an educational change for your boy.

Upon receipt of your inquiry or application, a member of the Admissions team will be in contact the same day or immediately following the weekend. If you prefer to schedule a phone appointment, feel free to send us an email with the best day and time to reach you.

We look forward to sharing more information about MMA's boarding and day school options for boys, grades 7-12. Our team can also discuss our summer camp options with you.

Admissions Criteria

  1. The candidate must be enrolled in a school. He cannot have been dismissed, withdrawn or expelled from a previous school for any disciplinary reason.
  2. The candidate must have no current problems with the law or juvenile authorities. He cannot currently be on probation or have a probation pending, or be working-off any community service hours.
  3. The candidate cannot have regular involvement with non-prescription drugs or alcohol prior to coming to MMA. While experimental/occasional "I've tried it" usage will not automatically disqualify him, MMA can require a drug screen prior to a decision.
  4. The candidate must be of good moral character for an all-male, boarding school setting.
  5. The candidate must be capable of average grades or better even though he may be underachieving or not working up to his full potential now.
  6. The candidate must be open and willing to attend. We prefer students who see MMA as a great opportunity.
