The annual Maroon & Gold Benefit Dinner is Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Sheraton Westport Chalet in St. Louis, Missouri. The evening begins at 6:00 pm with the opening of the silent auction and includes dinner and drinks, entertainment by MMA musicians, a special presentation and a live auction. Tickets are $175 per couple, $90 for individuals and $40 for cadets. Register and purchase your tickets online by clicking here.

Table sponsorships are still available! Table sponsorships are $700 and include table sponsor signage, your name in the event program and dinner tickets for eight. To become a table sponsor please contact Christine Smith, Director of Advancement at 573.581.1776.

Field greens tossed with toasted pecans, oranges, sun dried cranberries, chives and champagne vinaigrette
Pan seared herb marinated chicken breast with roasted shallot demi-glace, woodland mushroom medley and fresh rosemary roasted red potatoes

The following list contains examples of items or services we wish to include in our silent and live auctions at the Maroon & Gold Benefit Dinner. If you or your company has access to these or like items or services, please contact Christine Smith, Director of Advancement, to discuss how you can help. We are also looking for additional items beyond this list, so if you have other ideas, please let us know!

  • Airline miles
  • Use of vacation home or time share
  • Tickets to sold-out or high demand professional sports games (opening day, rivalry games, Saturday games)
  • MU vs. KU tickets with priority seating (football or basketball)
  • Hotel accommodations to be used in vacation packages
  • Fine jewelry
  • Dinner with entertainment or political figures
  • MU home football game tickets with priority parking
  • Rare wine or alcohol
  • Art
  • MU vs. Illinois Border War tickets with priority seating (football or basketball)

We are also seeking a few gift baskets for the silent auction, examples could include:

  • iPod® basket (could include accessories such as arm band, earphones, docking stations as well as iTunes® gift cards)
  • Movie basket (could include popular new releases and traditional movie snacks)
  • Spa basket (could include spa treatment items, candles, robe and slippers)
  • Cadet permit pass basket ( you provide gift cards to restaurants, movie theater, Wal-Mart etc. and we will provide the permit passes)
  • Wine and gourmet food baskets

Maroon & Gold Accommodation Information

Westport Plaza

The Westport Plaza has an assortment of fine restaurants, two first-class hotels, lively night spots and unique specialty shops.
