members of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) made presentations at the District Leadership Conference on Friday in Columbia.
Winners of online tests were announced at the conference.
First-place winners included Martin Michael in Business Law; Si Chan Law in Economics; the Global Business team of Sea Jun Kang, Andrew Horner and Cameron Stock; Luis Gonzalez in Impromptu Speaking; and Alan Ramos in Public Speaking.
Second-place awards went to Colonels Ty Armer in Economics, the team of Gabriel Villasenor and Alex Yeakel in Emerging Business Issues, and the Management Decision Making entry of Antonio Aguirre and Ernesto Kuri.
The Entrepreneurship unit of Horner, Stock and Julian Rosado took third place. Fourth place finishes were recorded in Business Ethics by Aguirre, Kuri and Villasenor, and in Economics by Ji Hyeong Lee.
MAJ Peggy Reynard, practical arts department chair, business and mathematics instructor, is the FBLA coach.
