Future Business Leaders of America, in their second year, actively participated in the Diabetes Walk, and enjoyed presentations given throughout the year by a lawyer, a financial planner, a restaurant manager, and a woman with international business experience. The President of FBLA for 2009-2010 is SeaJun Kang, Vice-President, JiHyeong Lee, and Reporter, SiChan Law.
The FBLA club competed at district level. Winners advancing to state competition were: Martin Michael, 1st Business Law; Alan Ramos, 1st Public Speaking;, Luis Gonzalez, 1st Impromptu Speaking; SiChan Law, 1stEconomics, SeaJun Kang, Andrew Horner, and Cameron Stock, 1st Global Business; and Ty Armer, 2nd Economics.
District winners not advancing to state were: Gabriel Villasenor and Alex Yeakel, 2nd Emerging Business Issues; Ernesto Kuri and Antonio Aguirre, 2nd Management Decision Making; Andrew Horner, Cameron Stock, and Julian Rosado, 3rd Entrepreneurship; JiHyeong Lee, 4th Economics, and Ernesto Kuri and Antonio Aguirre, 4th Business Ethics.
State FBLA results were: Martin Michael, 8th Business Law; SiChan Law, 8th Economics; Luis Gonzalez, 8th Impromptu Speaking; Alan Ramos, 8th Public Speaking; and Ty Armer, 9th Economics.
