Dear MMA Alumni,
For 122 years, the Missouri Military Academy has prepared young men for success by helping them develop the skills to succeed in both college and life.
As an MMA cadet, you were part of a unique educational and leadership development experience. MMA cadets past and present have unique leadership opportunities that don’t exist in many public or private day schools. Class sizes are small, so teachers pay more attention to individual needs. Cadets learn to live, work and play with other young men from diverse backgrounds in an atmosphere that reflects our increasingly global society.
As an alumnus - whether you attended eight years or one year - you are part of the history and success we have experienced. We encourage you to be a part of the future of MMA. We hope you will visit this site often and share your ideas, stories and successes with us.
This site is about you and MMA. We’ll keep you up to date regarding your alma mater and fellow alumni. We encourage you to keep us updated about your life since MMA. Send us your new contact information, pictures and stories and we’ll share them with your brothers from MMA.
Sincerely,
LTC Jim Medley, USAF (Ret.)
MMA Executive Officer/Director of Alumni Relations

Our Homecoming celebration saw the return of many MMA alumni. On the gridiron, our Fighting Colonels lost a tough game against Confluence Academy of St. Louis, but the alums and their guests took in the beautiful weather at Colonels Field.
This year we honored graduating classes from years ending in one and six. The highest attendance from those honor classes came from the Class of 1961, as five members returned for the weekend; the Class of 1971 led the way in attendance with 13 members attending, and were followed very closely by the Class of 1986, who had 12 members return for the weekend.
The Class of ’71 also led the way in Philanthropy, raising $9,000 in contributions during the weekend. A special moment took place at the dinner and dance at the Mexico Elks Club. As Major General Flanagan prepares to leave MMA next summer, the MMA Alumni Association presented him with a Centennial Model 1911 Colt .45 in appreciation of his service to MMA on behalf of all alums. The alumni also gave Mrs. Flanagan a painting of Stribling Hall.
Wall of Honor
At a ceremony during Homecoming 2010, the MMA Wall of Honor was officially dedicated to the alumni and faculty who have bravely served in the armed forces. Cpl Leo Champagne, last survivor of the first flag raising on Iwo Jima, addressed the alumni and guests in attendance.

If you know of any Alumnus who served or you are one who served, let us know. We are adding the names of veterans who attended either Kemper Military Academy or Western Military Academy.
We have finished updating the Alumni Directory as a courtesy to MMA alumni who wish to remain in touch with their classmates. You should have been contacted by Harris Publications for updated information. The new Directory has been published and if you ordered one, you should have it. If you note any mistakes, omissions or other information which should have been included, please let me know so I can correct the data base. You can order a copy from Harris Printing by calling (800) 877-6554.
If you are willing to be a class agent for your classmates, please let me know. I will try to get you in contact with the other members of your class so you can plan reunions, dinners, rallies etc. If we can help you in any way, call us!
