Tuition and Fees
Missouri Military Academy’s tuition, room and board covers the cost of instruction in academic subjects, computer usage fee, coaching, supervision, textbook rentals, haircuts, laundry, dry cleaning, academic fees, lab fees, routine medical attention and accident insurance.

Tuition is adjusted for those seeking enrollment after the start of the academic year. Your Admissions Counselor will have more information.

Boarding School Tuition

Tuition, Room and Board, Fall 2011-2012 $29,400


Missouri Military Academy offers tuition assistance in the form of grants and no-interest loans. The need-based awards are granted on a first-come, first serve basis. Learn more.

The Academy also offers tuition payment plans and a Tuition for Life program that guarantees a cadet’s tuition, room and board will not increase during the cadet’s years at the Academy. To quality for this program, families must re-enroll their cadet prior to May 15 of each academic year.

Please note that additional fees will be necessary if students choose to take PSAT/ACT/PLAN/SAT/TOEFL exams, AP exams, dual credit classes, school and class trips, and the English as a Second Language Camp. These costs vary depending upon each cadet’s specific needs.

Day Cadet Tuition

The Day Cadet tuition covers the cost of instruction in academic subjects, computer usage fee, coaching, supervision, textbook rentals, noon meals, academic fees, lab fees, routine medical attention and accident insurance.

Tuition for New High School Day Students $8,750
Tuition for New Middle School Day Students $8,250

5-Day Boarding Cadet Tuition

The 5-Day Cadet tuition covers the cost of instruction in academic subjects, computer usage fee, coaching, supervision, textbook rentals, noon meals, academic fees, lab fees, routine medical attention and accident insurance. Cadets reside on campus from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon.

Cadet Uniform

The uniform package and accessories are issued to all new cadets at a charge as listed below. Returning cadets are charged, as needed, for replacement items at the prevailing prices.

Uniform Package and Accessories for a New Boarding Cadet $2,100
Uniform Package and Accessories for a New Day Cadet $895

Please note that Missouri State Sales Tax will be added to the uniform package upon billing. There are also charges for additional uniform articles such as insignia for cadet rank, ribbons, pins, patches, shoulder boards, etc. A complete list of the basic uniform issue and accessories is provided upon acceptance.

One-to-One Netbook Pilot Program

Students in grades 6-9 are required to purchase a netbook in conjunction with the One-to-One educational program. The 2011-12 price is $550. Details

Special Enrollment Incentives

Tuition for Life Re-Enrollment Incentive:
Returning cadets who re-enroll by submitting a re-enrollment contract and a required deposit by May 15 will pay the same tuition, room and board as in the previous academic year. This incentive applies to boarding and day students.

Cadet Referral Incentive:
Current MMA parents who refer a new family who enrolls in the 2011-2012 school year will receive a $750 tuition credit for each family referred. The referred family will also receive a $1,000 scholarship award from the Academy in the name of the referring MMA family.

Sibling Program:
A 5% allowance is given for each sibling enrolled in the same academic year.

Legacy Program:
A 5% allowance is awarded to cadets with a father, grandfather or uncle who is an MMA alumnus.

Active Duty Military:
A 5% allowance is awarded to cadets whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are on active duty with the U.S. military services.

Optional Activity Fees and Spending Allowance

MMA offers a wide range of activities, varsity sports and intramural sports that are provided in the fee structure shown above. Cadets can also participate in optional activities which may require additional charges. A full list of activities is found on our website.

Parents have the option to leave funds on deposit at the Academy to provide for a weekly spending allowance. We recommend between $15 and $25 per week. You may increase or reduce these amounts at your discretion.
