What are the admission criteria? The criteria for admission include the following:
- The applicant must be willing to attend the Academy, abide by the rules and regulations, and participate in all required activities and programs.
- The applicant must be enrolled in school and attending classes if school is in session.
- The applicant must be capable of achieving average or above-average grades.
- The applicant must also be a single male of good moral character.
- The applicant must be able to obtain an F-1 Student Visa from the U.S. Government prior to enrollment.
How do you begin the Application Process? For your convenience, here’s a step by step outline to follow.
STEP 1: COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION
STEP 2: SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING APPLICANT REFERENCES
- These recommendation or reference forms are for you to distribute to the required references.
- All recommendations, references or evaluations should be returned directly to MMA by the evaluator.
- The following references are required
STEP 3: REQUEST SCHOOL RECORDS
- All records from the previous school are to be sent directly to MMA from the school. In order for MMA to request this information please submit a Transcript and Records Request.
- An official final transcript, indicating the applicant’s academic record and grade level, is required from the previous school(s) attended.
- If the applicant attended the previous school for only one year, then records from the last two academic years are to be sent to MMA.
- The TOEFL, SLEP and SSAT test scores are not required; however, please submit results if test results are available.
STEP 4: COMPLETE AN ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW

The applicant should plan for an interview on campus, via telephone or video conference.

Selected members of the admissions staff travel annually to Mexico and several Asian countries and schedule interviews with applicants.

STEP 5: After all of the required information is received and reviewed by the Admissions Committee, a decision will be DETERMINED. If accepted, an Enrollment packet will be mailed to the parents.
STEP 6: All international students who receive an acceptance will be required to take an online English Proficiency Exam, administered by MMA. Students who score below a 70% on this exam will be required to attend a 10-day English as a Second Language Orientation and Camp prior to the beginning of classes. These students will also be required to enroll in the English as a Second Language program during the school year. Fees may apply for enrollment in this program.
