Make the most out of summer at the MMA Summer Academy, a four-week, for-credit summer school for students entering grades 7-12. This structured program combines engaging, teacher-intensive classroom work with fun activities that open new horizons to young people - all in a safe, well-supervised environment.
In 2013 we will expand our summer program by offering a boarding option for girls. Girls will be housed in a dormitory facility designated exclusively for them.
In addition to earned credits, students who attend the Summer Academy gain increased academic confidence, enhanced study skills and new friends from around the globe. The MMA Summer Academy also reinforces our core values of character, leadership and scholarship.

This program offers both boarding and day options. During the school day, students can expect to attend a morning and an afternoon course. Because the course material is condensed into a four-week program, each class lasts approximately three to four hours. Students may also embark on educational field trips to locations within Missouri.
After school, students participate in athletic activities on campus. For boarding students, the evenings include a guided study hall in which teachers are present to help students with their homework.
After the evening study hall, boarding students have free time to unwind with a movie or hang out in the Canteen. Weekends provide opportunities for special outings, trips to amusement and water parks, paintball, horseback riding and rappelling. With the Fourth of July right in the middle of the session, we will take a trip to watch fireworks and celebrate Independence Day.
Missouri Military Academy is a private nonprofit educational institution and is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. We serve students from all academic backgrounds, so we encourage parents to consult their child’s current school to ensure which credits will transfer to their current educational institution.Courses for Credit Remediation: These are designed for students who have already taken these subjects.
